Attached to a quality residence, with wonderful landscaping and a seasonal stream behind the house. It is quiet and wooded, with the house set back from the road. With this apartment you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the stream flowing down the valley.
This is a perfect place to recuperate, and enjoy the privacy and tranquility of this small valley located close to Durango, yet feels so distant. It is a two level, one bedroom, one bath apartment with an additional office/media room. Done in southwestern earth tone colors. Carpeted throughout, except for the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is entered through the kitchen/dining room area. Off to the left is an office/television room featuring lots of natural light. And double doors accessing a small deck that overlooks the stream, where it is common to see deer and other animals. We have found that most of our renters stay for years. Next is the bathroom, which also houses the washer and dryer. Next, is the staircase to the bedroom. At the top of the stairs, it opens up to a spacious loft bedroom, with a cathedral ceiling and ceiling fan. Large wood windows face both north, east and west, overlooking the stream.
Everything in the apartment has been built with quality furnishings. Ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom, maple cabinets, southwestern rough-hewn doors, and southwestern light fixtures and sconces. All windows have quality insulating window coverings. A parking for one vehicle (along with some storage space) is included in the shared detached enclosed garage.
The rock walkway to the apartment is lined with solar lighting, and a motion detecting light at the door to illuminate the entrance upon approaching. Included in the rent are the following: An extra large refrigerator with ice maker, washer/dryer, microwave, king bed, water, sewage, trash, and recycling. Plenty of pine cones. Plenty of stars.

Renter is responsible for rock walkway/path to apartment as well as back deck snow removal. Parking for one car (and additional storage) is included in the detached shared garage.
