About the building

We have a separate entrance, ADU/garden unit, alongside our home in the beautiful Kensington area.… It is setup loft-style, with a living room/kitchenette downstairs plus upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The ADU is recently remodeled with new appliances, new wood floors, new kitchen cupboards, new closets, etc. Comes unfurnished. Glorious sunsets and city views can be seen from the lower deck, where there is a picnic table for tenant's use. One block walk to 'downtown' Kensington with a grocery story, coffee and cheese shop, two restaurants, gas station and bank. Close to Tilden Park for walks/runs in nature, an express bus across the street to downtown SF, close to the Bart station and to Berkeley. Storage on site for any suitcases/bikes/ski equipment/surfboards/other toys. Plenty of street parking, no restrictions. We ask that you restrict your usage of the rest of the house, though use of laundry in the main house is welcome as needed. Looking for someone quiet, respectful, no-smoking, no partying, no drugs and must be dog-friendly (willing to walk our dog every now and then would be a huge bonus. She's very friendly to people, but not so friendly to other dogs). If interested, please let us know a bit about your personality, background/hobbies, current work situation, typical daily schedule, and what you're looking for in a place and we can setup a viewing. They are just finishing up the remodel so we don't have current pictures. Also please let us know if you have a car. Looking to make a decision on tenant ASAP.
