It is about a 10-15 minute bike ride or 30 minute walk to most popular areas of the City, including The French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, The New Orleans Museum of Art and City Park. The unit has a private entrance at the rear of the owner's shotgun house, and consists of a private bedroom with a kitchenette. The bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed, work table, large screen TV with premium streaming channels (Apple, HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime & Paramount) and decorated with Mardi Gras posters and original photographs of local musicians. The kitchenette contains a cafe table and chairs, a mini fridge, drip and Keurig coffee makers, microwave, toaster, hot plate and air fryer, as well as a washer and dryer (also used by owner, who provides laundry soap). There is a bidet toilet in the bathroom, which has a heated seat for cold winter nights. There is also a large, landscaped back yard for relaxing and entertaining, with a grill, double hammock, table & chairs and umbrella. Smoking tobacco is nor allowed in the premises, but is allowed on the entry steps, in the yard and on the front porch. Vaping is allowed everywhere.
