This lovely ground-floor apartment stands out with its ample sunlight, privacy and comfort. Its private entrance is found on a covered porch in the fully fenced, south-facing back yard. While technically a two-bedroom unit, it is best set up using one room as a bedroom and the other as a living room/office. Both rooms have top-down-bottom-up shades and blackout curtains as well as large closets for your storage needs. In-unit laundry features Bosch brand washer and dryer. Note: the apartment is not furnished. Photos with furniture are for reference only. Covered, lockable bike storage for two bikes as well as a huge, private lockable shed are reserved for tenants of this apartment. While the photos still show a shared back yard we have since installed a solid, tall fence to create a completely private back yard. Note: While attached to the main house, we have made extensive efforts to soundproof it with high-density foam insulation and an extra layer of noise-absorbing drywall. Because of this, there is little noise transfer between the two units. Street parking is ample and unrestricted. This well-maintained apartment is very near to major bus lines, Portland's light rail MAX line and several great parks (Kenton Park, Arbor Lodge Park). Fred Meyer and New Seasons Arbor Lodge are the nearest grocers, while historic Kenton's Denver Street offers a Oregon Contemporary Arts Center, The Paul Bunyan Statue, public library, thrift shops, cafes, bakery (Posies), stores, bars (Dub's, Tiny Bubble, Kenton Station, Speakeasy Saloon) and restaurants (An An, NorthPort, PoShines, Fino Bistro, Sawan Thai).
