Never gets old
This is the first bedroom you get when you come down the spiral staircase. If you go right from here, you're in the middle room. A privacy divider here allows privacy for this room while people pass through this corner to get to the other rooms.
Middle room. Transom windows let in a surprising amount of light. Lots of storage in the built-in cabinets to the left. Big bathroom is off this middle room.
Third 'submariner' room. Again, lots of natural light. A walk-in 'systems' closet has a lot of storage space.

From front door looking to the left. Jaws always drop. Most of this main floors furniture is leaving, so if you have some...or don't...we'll get new (used?) stuff. If you're thinking shorter term, I'll pay for it.
From front door looking to the right. Outgoing roommate is open to leaving much of this stuff and starting over himself, so...options. Fun fact: current housemate is getting another floating home near here and is going to move his stuff by boat. No joke

We've always used this bath in the bathroom off the kitchen to take baths in. The gigantic tile bath on the submariner level took literally 25 minutes to fill. You'd be welcome to keep lots of your stuff in this bathroom, as I rarely use it.

About the building

For rent is actually an entire floor, not just one room.… The area that will be specifically yours is the 'submariner level' which has three 12' x 13' rooms, which, at present are all set up as bedrooms that can become offices, studios, etc. This level also has a large full bathroom, two walk-in closets and a large storage closet. If you have tons of stuff, 20' shipping containers are free to rent just off our lot for $300/month. We'll share the main level that has kitchen / dining room / living room / wet bar / laundry / floor to ceiling windows and we'll also share the 20' x 46' roof deck. To get to the roof deck, you have to passed through a corner of my room, which will always be fine with me, as I am not a particularly private person. Also, I have a privacy curtain that I can draw closed. BTW, people always ask if the house moves a lot. It doesn't. It is so heavy that it doesn't move much at all. That said, a friend came once and had to leave after a few minutes because they were highly sensitive to even slight motions. And, the 2394 Mariners Square address brings you to the foot of the driveway (Barney Way) to our parking lot. If you're coming here, call me when you're five minutes away, and I'll stay with you on the phone to guide you into a parking spot much closer to the house than where the 2394 address is at.
