The neighborhood

About the building

This home is available now. The couple that most recently lived there will tell you it's the best place they've ever lived and you're welcome to contact them. The neighborhood is the real gem here. You're in the middle of the city and can walk to two hundred restaurants and bars but at the same time it's quiet, secluded and safe for you to walk your pup or just enjoy the calm evening silence on your huge deck under the tree canopy with the lighting dimmed and a fire on the deck in your firepit. Homes within just a few blocks start at a million. Across the street just sold for 1.4. Next door for 1.3. If you're familiar with the area, you know that the neighborhood is quiet and unreal old school Denver, right next to RINO for a summer bike ride to grab dinner and some yummy drinks but you live in serenity. It's blocks and blocks full of Victorian museum pieces, not all the boring big new boxes. It's three blocks from the light rail. It's less than a mile northeast of the scyscrapers, in an amazing residential neighborhood walkable to Coors Field. It's a five minute bike ride to the high rises. Parking is never an issue on street and you'll have two spaces off street, too. The yard is fully fenced and private to your house. Open the door and let the pup out. Take your best friend on walks in a real neighborhood, not stepping on needles or over people that are passed out. We believe in NON CORPORATE style management...if you've had em, you know what it's like being the "tenant" and what apartment complex living is like in some non-descript mid rise surrounded by cattle that are mooing to the corporate machine. Or just being the person in number 2b, and they don't know your name, it takes weeks to fix stuff and you only used the lovely amenities once when you moved in. We're just not that way, and honestly would love to take good care of the folks that are paying the mortgage. Either you're an apartment complex person or not, I suppose. You're reading this because you probably aren't. Yay corporate. Okay, the home...Completely gutted and remodeled. Eleven foot ceilings. Bright and airy, but still nestled under a tree canopy. Beige walls with bright white trim and ceiling. We use the really tall baseboards. And we used French doors for the office/third bedroom. Stainless appliances, with a dishwasher and a built in microwave over the range. We used hickory cabinets in the kitchen, with granite countertops and a tumbled travertine backsplash with marble inlays. I love lighting, and this one has a lot of it. There's cans on dimmers, pendants, and undercabinet lights. Five huge, pretty ceiling fans, with remotes so you can lay in bed and change fan speeds and dim the lights lol. Really cool original style mouldings throughout, and they are all new, so they don't have 47 coats of lead paint on them. Newer windows. Everything was touched...the kitchen, bath, plumbing, furnace and electrical. Real hardwood floors throughout. No gross carpet. If you've ever pulled carpet up, you know the deal and how the skin and dirt builds up under it, ugh. Whirlpool bathtub in the bathroom. Your own front load washer and dryer are included. Newer furnace and tankless water heater (never ending hot water), both energy star rated and dedicated to this house. There is central air conditioning. All LED lighting. The big deck outside the living room rocks and we all live here in Colorado for the outdoor living, right? You'll live on and use the deck EVERY SINGLE DAY. In the summer, there's a hammock under the tree canopy, and the patio becomes another (the best) room of the house. We'll include a thousand dollar weber grill and a smoker, as well as a gas fire pit. It's completely shaded with huge trees, and it's just unreal. You'll live outside, ten steps from the refrigerator. Also included is the super nice wrought iron furniture set and the hanging string lights on a remote that change colors and dim, ect. Pretty much anything else you want, just let me know and I'll take care of you. RINO is a walkable couple of blocks away, as is light rail, like three blocks. My favorite brewery there is Ratio. $4 house beer, always a good food truck and an awfully pretty outdoor garden to relax with the pup. There's a fully fenced yard in back and pets are welcome. I don't believe in pet rent. You'll meet my Jack when you come and visit, pets are family. Gotta train em though, ahem. Please pass me by if you don't get the training part. There's a large, secure storage room off the rear deck for bikes, skis, outdoor equipment and such and a huuuuuge attic for storage, too. Sorry you wonderful cigarette smokers, but there can be absolutely NO cigarette smoking. Please DO NOT call me if you smoke. Can't stand it. Any other questions, feel free to text or shoot me an email and say hi. Thanks again for looking and good luck in your search! Danny 3(oh)3.725.(eight)075 2352 Emerson St, 80205
