About the building

Please read this. Dude that lives there now will tell you, it's the best place he's ever lived. He's moving to the northeast for work. I'll remove this as soon as it rents, I promise. If you're serious, please text me. Don't use the Zillow "request" button, it's a time vacuum. My number is at the bottom :) Please don't send an application before contacting me or seeing the home, it's weird. This unit is available now. It's spotlessly clean and ready for you to have a great summer in an amaaaaaaaazing neighborhood. Hi, Thanks for looking! Sorry this'll be kinda long...We've got a three bedroom condo up for rent at Emerson and 23rd. If you're familiar with the area, you know that the neighborhood is nothing short of epic. It's a neighborhood full of museum pieces, quiet and super close to all kinds of goodness. It's three blocks from the light rail, it's a duplex, and this is the upper unit. It's about one mile northeast of the scyscrapers, in a great residential neighborhood. Free parking is never an issue. I have never had to park further than twenty feet from the front door. There are two included off street spaces out back, also. The yard is fully fenced for your pup. We are NON Corporate management...if you've had "them", you know what it's like being the "tenant", or slave, to the man. Or just being the person in number 2b, and they don't even know your name. We're not that way, and honestly would love to have a really cool relationship with the folks that are paying our mortgage. The big guys don't seem to understand that...who's paying the mortgage, I mean. I just work here. You'd also be welcome to talk to the nice folks that rent it to verify that we'll treat you right. Okay, the unit...Completely gutted and remodeled. Beige walls with bright white trim and ceiling. We use a deep red for accents, and crown moulding in the study/office, as well as the really tall baseboards. And we used French Doors for the office. Stainless appliances, with a dishwasher and a built in microwave over the range. We used 42" maple cabinets in the kitchen, with beige granite countertops and a tumbled travertine back splash. I love lighting. There's cans on dimmers, pendants, and undercabinet lights. Five huge, pretty ceiling fans, with remotes. Really cool original style mouldings throughout, and they are all new, so they don't have 47 coats of paint on them. Newer windows, so the utilities will be reasonable. And I blew in like 14 feet of insulation in the attic and between the floors for soundproofing. That was a fun day. The outside is pretty bland, but it's cool to see people walk in and their reaction from the outside to the inside. We tend to buy the ugly ducklings and then overdue the interiors to make up for the outside being boring. But the inside...you'll like. Everything is new...the kitchen, bath, plumbing, furnace and electrical. Hardwood floors throughout. No disgusting carpet, so you'll get your deposit back if you don't clean with a softball bat, golf inside the house, or aren't an idiot. NEW bathroom with top end ceramic tile and a one piece Kohler toilet, cherry vanity and granite, high end faucetry. Your own front load washer and dryer are included. New furnace and tankless water heater, both energy star rated and dedicated to this unit, so you set the thermostat where you want. Tankless water heater means never ending, efficient hot water. Ok, now to my favorite part. The elevated patio/deck right off the kitchen. There's an eight foot door that opens to the patio, and I'm thinking it's thirty feet by fifteen or so. In the summer, there's a hammock, under the tree canopy, and the deck becomes another room that you will use every day. We'll include a thousand dollar weber grill, a smoker and a firepit as well as an amazing wrought iron table and chairs set. It's completely shaded with huge trees, and it just rocks. It is also the very favorite place on planet earth for my dumb dog. The squirrels sit up on the roof and throw stuff at him. Because it is an over under duplex, we went to lengths to soundproof it because I wanted to live there back when we bought it, and I like my quiet. The floor of the upper unit is separated from the lower unit by about 20 inches of airspace, and then we blew in 20 inches of insulation. And the lower ceiling is fire-rated with two layers of drywall. The place is a tank. Besides, if you're not an id*ot, you know you need to invite your neighbors to the party anyway, then there's no one to complain. Light rail is a three block walk. Buses run up and down Downing, which is two blocks to the east. It's a seven minute bike ride to Downtown or Lodo, and a five dollar cab ride home at 2am. There's a fully fenced yard in back and pets are welcome as long as they aren't little terrorists. We do love dogs, you'll probably see mine in some of the pics, and you'll meet him at showings. Cats, however, would probably need to be beaten just a bit to ensure they don't mark. But if you have a cat, you know everyone with a property is wary of em, right? But the cool ones rock. We really are totally cool with pets, folks like us wouldn't exist if it weren't for pets, or corporate management. Park your ebike out back. I'll bring mine and race ya. The neighbors are super cool all around... Let's see... it's about 1250 square feet. There's a full length attic that you could park cars in, with plenty of storage in another room accessible from the back porch. The apartment is available now. I'm definitely interested in finding the right people than just filling it up. Not sure if I made this clear, but we are, again, NON CORPORATE management and we won't dog you with late fees if you're a day or two late with rent. Sorry you wonderful cigarette smokers, but there can be absolutely NO cigarette smoking inside our units. It's disgusting and the tar permeates everything. We bust our butts to make these places your home, and indoor smoking is very uncool. You will be looking at a fun and very short rest of you life if you smoke in this house. Please, DO NOT CALL ME IF YOU SMOKE. Pot is no big deal, just don't forget to go to work, stner. Any other questions, feel free to call anytime, or shoot me an email, but the call gets quicker results, I'm a late night email guy (thanks vine Street pub), and not always the same day...sorry. Please, I'm low pressure and we'll have a few laughs, don't make me come home and type a novel. Thanks again for looking and good luck in your search! Danny Three oh three-725-8 (zeeeroooo) 75
