We are seeking a long term renter for our three bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1242 sq. ft. house which is available September 2026. Outside, the house boasts a large and secure fenced backyard, a carport with extra storage shed space and a front yard with lots of sun. The house is on a 0.45 acre lot and has lots of shady trees in a fully-fenced, approximately 0.25 acre backyard, perfect for active kids and pets. Inside, the house has a well equipped kitchen with a nice bay window and plenty of cabinet space. There is an electric stove, large oven, dishwasher, and new stainless steel sink. The kitchen also contains a laundry machine and dryer. There are hardwood floors throughout the house, with built in cabinets in the hallway and a large walk-in storage closet also off of the hall. There is a beautiful family room with built in shelving and a gas fireplace. The three bedrooms all have ceiling fans and closets. The bedrooms share the 1.5 bath. The house has a heat pump for heating and air conditioning, and excellent insulation was installed in the crawlspace and attic. The house was repainted inside July 2025, and has been well maintained. The landlords live down the street and are very responsive to any problems. The neighborhood is a close and diverse community with lots of families and graduate students. The house is on the Chapel Hill Transit A bus line, is close to UNC, and is districted for Glenwood Elementary, Culbreth Middle, and East Chapel Hill High School. Only 8 miles away from Duke and Durham, and 12 miles from Research Triangle Park, this house is perfectly situated for living in the Triangle. The house is available for a renewable one year lease, starting September 1, 2026. Rent is $2200, and renters pay utilities, which average $200 per month. There is a $2200 security deposit and first month's rent is due at the beginning of the lease. No smoking or vaping allowed inside the home or on the property. Basic yard maintenance is included.
