Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and cornhole. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers. Don't miss the historic Fort Fisher area, and of course the NC Aquarium is a wonderful place to explore. The newly remodeled visitor center has exhibit space, a 100-seat orientation theater, gift shop, and a multipurpose room suitable for rentals such as banquets, wedding receptions, etc. and the best part is this property is within walking distance! You'll want to dine out at some of our outstanding restaurants and visit the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach for fireworks on Thursday Nights and Britt's Doughnuts anytime.
