AVAILABLE STARTING: AUGUST 23rd through APRIL 30th (8 MONTH LEASE) Our home is on 1.5 acres tucked away from the main road. It is ideal for those looking for a retreat-like setting with gorgeous views of the Mt. Holyoke Range as well as proximity to the five colleges and pioneer valley towns (e.g., Northampton, Amherst). We are a 20-minute walk to South Hadley Village commons where you'll find coffee, restaurants, a movie theatre, a bookstore, and Mt. Holyoke College. Also nearby are a golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, farm stores, and hiking trails. The house is a split-level mid-century home with three floors. We installed 5 new mini-splits in 2024 (2 on the main floor and 3 in each room upstairs). - the 1st floor has the entry/foyer, a powder room, a spacious office, a large living room, kitchen, dining room and additional lounge area. There is a laundry room between the garage and the kitchen with a washer/dryer. - the 2nd floor has the main bedroom (with king bed) and attached half bath, a second bedroom (with queen bed), a full bath, and an additional bedroom that we use as a second office. - the Basement is a bright walk-out finished basement with windows overlooking the backyard. We use the main space here as a workout/rec space. There is also a smaller storage room and a utility room on this level. There is parking for one car in the attached garage and additional parking in the driveway. Additional details: -The living room is large with a gas fireplace, large windows, and a separate reading nook. -The dining room and the lounge are in the brightest part of the house just off the kitchen and leading to the balcony. -The main living areas and the balcony all look out onto the expansive backyard with views of the Mt. Holyoke Range - the fall foliage is especially stunning. - The house is fully furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware and supplies. Some things to note: we have one full bath and two half baths (one attached to the main bedroom and one off the foyer). The house is on a septic system so some care must be taken with using the kitchen sink and the toilets. This mid-century house is in great shape with new boiler, gas fireplace, and washer/dryer. Rent (a minimum of 8 months) includes water, trash, and yard maintenance. Tenant pays own heat (oil and gas), electric, wifi, and minimum of twice-monthly cleaning.
