This historic cottage, originally built in 1904, has been completely renovated while maintaining its original charm. It features an open floor plan that spans 40 feet from front to back upstairs, and two covered/screened-in decks with a 16' bar perfect for enjoying the amazing scenery. Enjoy amazing views from all around, especially from the screened-in decks overlooking a steep wooded hillside/valley. There is also a one-of-a-kind hot & cold outdoor shower on the bottom deck/screened-in porch off the back bedroom downstairs. Coded entry provides detailed self check-in instructions on the day of arrival. Located about a mile uphill from the new WOKA Whitewater Kayak Park, and right next to all the new trails, this cottage is set amongst 830 acres of the historic Lake Frances property near Siloam Springs, AR, now known as the Lake Frances Preserve. The preserve lies on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border east of the Illinois River and is one of the largest tracts of contiguous forest in western Benton County. Located just south of Siloam Springs in the historic Lake Francis area amongst only a few other properties not owned by the NWA Land Trust. Easy to access from HWY 59, but you will feel like you are the only one around in the rural setting. Just up the road/hill from the new kayak park opening Spring of 2023. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed. Events are not allowed. This place is not suitable for children or infants.
