It is equipped with a flat-screen TV with Roku devices, controllable wall AC/heat units, lightning-fast Wi-Fi, steamers, a cozy dining area with a small table and chairs, a microwave, a mini-fridge & freezer, and a 4-cup coffee maker. The kitchenette includes a small fridge, microwave, and toaster.
Shared amenities include kayaks (rental fees apply and waiver required), balconies, porch swings, fire pits, beaches, yard games, play structures, loungers, and outdoor furniture. Grills are also available. The attached Fife Lake Lodge Party Store is thoughtfully stocked with essential items and delightful treats. An assigned parking spot is available in front of the building for 1 vehicle, with public parking across the street or next door at the public Lakeside Park. A pack-n-play or stair gate can be provided upon request.
Fife Lake Lodge is strategically located close to key destinations and attractions such as Traverse City, Caberfae, Crystal Mountain, and Boyne Mountain, all within a 30-minute to an hour's drive. Explore the renowned Torch Lake, just a 45-minute drive away. The town is small and easily walkable, with local shops and restaurants within reach. Exploring the surrounding areas may require a vehicle, as public transportation options might be limited.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Parties and smoking in the motel room are prohibited and will incur a $1000 fine. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may result in additional charges. Dogs are allowed with a fee of $20/night, $100/week, or $250/month, with breed restrictions and a weight limit of under 50 lbs (exceptions require contacting the host). Dogs must be cleaned up after and leashed in common areas. Kayaks can be used between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with rental fees and a waiver required. Firewood is not provided. A non-refundable damage waiver is included in the total cost. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur (except Airbnb bookings). Local guests require prior authorization before booking. A 4% credit card fee applies to cancellations (except Airbnb & VRBO).
