Shared amenities include kayaks (available 8 AM - 8 PM, Memorial Day to Nov 1st, rental fees and waiver required), balconies, porch swings, fire pits, beach access, yard games, play structures, loungers, and outdoor furniture. Grills are also available. Ample parking with one assigned spot per room is provided, with extra parking in front of the blue shed next to the property and public parking nearby at Lakeside Park. Dogs are welcome with a fee of $20/night, $100/week, or $250/month, with breed restrictions and a weight preference under 50 lbs. A non-refundable damage waiver is included in the total cost, covering more than minor wear and tear. Stays over 30 nights require a refundable security deposit if no damages occur.

Local shops and restaurants are within reach, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The lodge is strategically close to key destinations such as Traverse City, Caberfae, Crystal Mountain, and Boyne Mountain, all within a 30-minute to an hour's drive, and Torch Lake is just a 45-minute drive away. The town is small and easily walkable, and exploring surrounding areas may require a vehicle.
Quiet hours are observed between 10 PM and 6 AM. No parties or smoking are permitted in the motel room, with a $1000 fine for violations. Guests are responsible for reporting and repairing or replacing any damage caused. Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may result in additional charges. Fishing is not permitted on the docks; there is a small public access spot down by the beach and a dock near the public beach for fishing use. Guests will receive their access details after completing verification, which includes signing the rental agreement and uploading ID and selfie uploads. Firewood is not provided. A starter kit includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper; guests are responsible for additional supplies. Local guests require prior authorization before booking. Pets must be authorized prior to booking and leashed in common areas, with cleanup required to avoid fees. Kayaks can be used between 12 PM - 7 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and all renters must sign a Kayak Rental Waiver.
