Each room at Fife Lake Lodge blends rustic charm with comfort and convenience. Enjoy flat-screen TVs with Roku, controllable wall AC/heat units, lightning-fast Wi-Fi, steamers, and a cozy dining area with a small table and chairs. Select rooms feature mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and in-unit washers and dryers. Shared amenities include kayaks, balconies, porch swings, fire pits, beaches, yard games, play structures, loungers, outdoor furniture, and grills.
Ample parking is available, featuring an assigned parking spot per room right in front of the building, with additional parking in front of the blue shed next to the private beach. A public parking lot is conveniently situated across the street or next door at the public Lakeside Park. Kayaks are available for rent from Memorial Day to November 1st, with rental fees and a waiver required. Pack n' Play or stair gates are available upon request. Firewood is not provided. Pet-friendly rooms are available in rooms 2 through 8 for dogs, with a fee of $20 per night, $100 per week, or $250 per month. A non-refundable damage waiver is included in the total cost. Discounts are automatically applied for extended stays: 10% off for weekly stays of 7+ nights and 20% off for monthly stays of 30+ nights.
Fife Lake Lodge is surrounded by scenic beauty, offering a peaceful and charming neighborhood centered around Fife Lake. The area provides opportunities for water activities and outdoor adventures, with lush forests, rolling hills, and picturesque hiking trails nearby. Local shops and restaurants are within reach, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The town is small and easily walkable, and exploring surrounding areas like Traverse City, Caberfae, Crystal Mountain, and Boyne Mountain is convenient by car.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. No parties or smoking are permitted in the motel rooms, with a $1000 fine for violations. Guests are responsible for reporting and repairing or replacing any damage caused. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may result in additional charges. Fishing is not permitted on the docks; there is a small public access spot down by the beach and a dock near the public beach for fishing use. Kayaks can be used between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and all renters must sign a Kayak Rental Waiver. Guests are responsible for additional supplies beyond the starter kit, which includes coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper.
