This lease is somewhat flexible but runs through Colorado Springs' busy season, making this home a real stand-out for summer sublet. Up until December 1 is preferred as furnished, but if you wanted to stay longer, we could move some furniture and have a whole year sublet. Two people max please. Animals can be discussed. A Zillow application is required to tour. This is the BEST place to get started in Colorado Springs or if you live here to try before you commit for longer. Old Colorado City has classic Victorian and Eduardian homes as well as homes from the 1950s and today. It's a bustling, but quiet, historic area to walk and enjoy the scenery. There many pubs and activities nearby as well as free festivals which can make parking competitive, but 340 days of the year, it is good and safe on the street. You have complete private access to the front and back porches, but the back yard is already shared with a friendly on-site dog. No loud barking dogs of your own, please. Socialized dogs only. Cats should be indoor or on-leash. Catios are cool. One large upstairs bedroom and one small front office allow easy layout for a comfortable home, with a modern bedroom and new appliances in the kitchen, the house shines. The high R-value insualtion, new furnace, water heater, electrical, radon system, plus asbestos safety checks make this classic home safe and snug for everyone. Water filters abound for delicious Colorado water. The house has been professionally sealed for weather and pest intrusions. Laundry service is provided twic per month or a reduction can be made. The garden has been designed to showcase Colorado's incredible flower and plant possibilities. Gardeners are difinitely welcome! This little gem is close to Downtown, I-25, Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Open Space and is basically centrally located on the SW side of town, on The Westside, a liberal, artsy, tourist and historic area. We look forward to talking with you about your needs! *Please keep in mind that this home is being subdivided so that other people and pets would be on the property. Think of it as a triplex, but that is actually an original from 1910 Territory Days :) It's small with high ceilings and storage up high in closets.

This adorable miners bungalow has been updated for comfort and will be offered as a temporary sublet for some qualified residents.… Only leases spanning Sept 1-Dec 15 or thereabouts will be considered. All applicants will need a completed Zillow application, especially to TOUR the property. Only these will be considered. Though small--like the era, the high ceilings lend a feeling of spaciousness to the classic little Eduardian layout from 1910. Watch passersby from your office workspace during this fun season in Old Colorado City. There are technically 2 bedrooms. Halloween is definitely celebrated around here :) It's fun to be here then. Pets should be mostly indoor for safety and ease. This upper-story duplex home is in easy walking distance to one of the most historic places in Colorado, rich in the history of the Gold Rush, Saloons, Brithels and Churches, the Wild West, Historical CO landmarks and stunning parks. You can't help but feel the history around you in this quiet, central neigborhood. The house is walking distance to farmers' markets in the summer and many attractions year-round. Use Pike Ride to e-bike the city or simply enjoy walking in the Garden of the Gods. Many guests try the Manitou Incline and drink water from natural fountains in nearby Manitou Springs. The area abounds with nature, food and entertainment. Going west, we are close to I-25 with easy access to a vibrant downtown scene featuring the Olympic Committee and Colorado College. Enjoy a relaxing and historic getaway for a couples retreat, a work and play, or simply to enjoy the feeling of how it was to live here in the early 1900s. With a mix of modern and vintage, this place cannot be beat!
