The kitchen is brightly lit with tons of natural light, it has acres of stone countertop space, ample cabinetry, and a lighted walk-in pantry. A natural gas stove, huge sink, top-of-the-line refrigerator with automatic ice maker, and quality dishwasher and garbage disposal make this a cook's paradise. Built in water filtration makes the tap water extra delicious and pure as the mountains. Third floor has two bedrooms flooded with light from the bay window sitting areas, two full bathrooms, and state-of-the-art Samsung extra large washer and dryer in its own closet. Master suite has generous space with a walk-in clothes closet, extra deep and long bathtub, and separate toilet room. Both bedrooms have gorgeous mountain views from the large bay windows. The whole house has elegant high ceilings and high end finishes. It is immaculately clean and a place where you can feel tucked away from the bustle of Reno, while still easily enjoying all the activities, culture, recreation and shopping that the Tahoe area offers. You can even sit on your covered porch and pretend you are in San Francisco, as you are surrounded by Victorian Revival architecture. Stroll the manicured gardens and enjoy the peace, all auto traffic leads around back to the garages and parking so the front spaces and gardens are elegantly car-free. The home has central heating and air-conditioning that is inexpensive due to the design and insulation. All landscaping is included in your rent, just sit back and watch the seasons change in the elegant gardens and lovely trees. Landlord will also pay for the water and sewer and hoa. You will be responsible for Internet, Gas and Electricity, Trash, and any other utilities you opt for. There is fast, inexpensive, reliable internet here. This is our home, and we are friendly landlords who have an empty nest and are hitting the road to become nomads. If you are quiet, clean, and respectful with good credit and good references we can make this a mutually enjoyable experience. You must have demonstrable, steady, income. This place is special and we are holding out for a special tenant who will love it here as much as we do. About the neighborhood: this is a very safe community, on Virginia Lake, with lovely paths for walking and stunning views. The neighborhood has pedestrian access gates with codes, so you can walk, jog, scooter, or bike out of a variety of exits. You can walk into midtown for nightlife and shopping, the large movie theater and RED courtyard is also a short walk, groceries from SaveMart are close as can be. We are also very central and convenient to all Reno has to offer, minutes by car to Costco, WalMart, and other big box shopping. The new Moana Hot Springs Natatorium is just down the street. Our favorite campground in Tahoe (Mt Rose, 9000 feet above sea level) is only 30 minutes away via roads with no bay area/Sacramento traffic! From the campground we can drop into Lake Tahoe within just a few minutes, again on almost all low-traffic roads. This is the secret hack of living in Reno, so shhhh. the fine print there is an HOA with rules to follow: Parking around the neighborhood is limited to 24 hours and is for anyone in the neighborhood to use. Any parking longer than 24 hours must be in the garage (auto openers included). The HOA ensures a peaceful and serene experience. You must not have audio systems that can be heard/felt by the neighbors. There are no barking dogs allowed, so if your doggo friend likes to talk, it will not work out here. Trash and recycle bins must remain inside the garage, except within 24 hours of waste collection. We will all get a stern letter from the HOA if this doesn't happen :) No hanging stuff on railing or using the outdoor space for unsightly items or for general storage. Essentially, everyone keeps their porch looking nice. We welcome your well-behaved fur babies at a reasonable count, with extra deposit. Note, per HOA rules we are not allowed to have barking dogs, and barking or any other disruptive behavior will violate the lease. We need to know your furry friend will not harm our place, and, if they won't, we are happy to let your fluffy family reside here! There are wonderful grounds to walk Fido through the winding garden paths, and of course the Virginia Lake pedestrian loop is right outside the gate.
