William was the son of a prominent early Puyallup pioneer. It has a clipped, front-facing gable roof. It is the third home listed on the Washington Heritage Register in Puyallup. The home was purchased in 1906 by Thomas and Sarah Brew. Thomas founded Brew Manufacturing, which made bee hives and berry crates.
