This is the top floor corner apartment in Iao Gardens with panoramic views of Iao Valley, Iao Stream and the ocean in the distance (see the pictures). Vaulted ceilings throughout and many windows in all directions thanks to which it never really gets hot in here. There is a newer washer and steam dryer (from 2019). The kitchen has been remodeled in 2019 as well, with solid bamboo cabinets and quartz counter tops. New appliances added in 2023: stainless steel fridge with the ice maker and filtered water, electric range stove with air fry function and strong range hood. Bathrooms freshly remodeled with bamboo cabinets and quartz counter tops matching the kitchen. New 70" smart flat screen TV in the living room and smaller flat screen in the master bedroom. New quiet ceiling fans with LED lights installed throughout. New comfortable queen size bed in the smaller bedroom. Master bedroom has a king size bed with soft foam topper, walk through closet. Freshly painted. This is overall a tip-top clean apartment - please keep it that way. If you are a messy person then please do not bother applying. Thank you! Walking distance to the Court, Maui Medical Group, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and administration buildings. A couple of minutes drive from the Maui Memorial Medical Center (1.7 miles, also a pleasant bike ride), Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani (1.2 miles), supermarkets (Safeway 1.2mi, Foodland 1.3mi) and shopping mall (Queen Ka'ahumanu Center 2.1 mi). The prospective tenant(s) must meet the following criteria: 1. absolutely no addiction problems, no drama, solid job and income 2. pass background/credit check 3. sign a 6 month lease followed by month to month (HOA rule) 4. pay one month deposit upon signing (deposit will be returned on move out) 5. no pets (sorry, HOA rule) 7. no parties (neighbors are quiet and sensitive to noise) Rent does not include electricity. The electricity bill is forwarded after each month and is due with the rent. The last tenants had an average bill of $90. Utilities included are trash pick up, water, and high speed internet with cable TV (Wi-Fi 100Mbps down/ 30Mbps up link) There is one carport attached to the apartment. All other cars must park on the street which has normally plenty of space. There is a BBQ and a small pool in the common area of the apartment complex which itself is a 3 story building accessible by an elevator. All furniture and appliances pictured are included. Also included is the Google assistant speaker and a Shark vacuum. The master bedroom has a walk through closet with two shelves with rods underneath to hang the clothes, and a 4 drawer dresser. The smaller bedroom has a big dresser and a regular closet with doors. There is also a loft which is not part of the rent (it is used as owner's storage). The kitchen is fully stocked, including slow/rice cookers of various sizes, new drip coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, microwave, and a blender. There is also a double sink with garbage disposal and very nice selection of pots and pans if you enjoy cooking. The washing machine and dryer are inside the apartment as well. This is a newer, top of the line, LG set (connects with your smart phone, dryer has a steaming function). As stated earlier, please note the credit report is required and a good credit history is required. If you just finished school or/and have no credit history then that is fine as long as you did not get delinquent on many payments or defaulted on a loan. Please note that there are roosters in Wailuku and you will hear them in the early morning, every morning. You might also hear dogs barking. Mahalo for looking!
