This charming old four square home is wonderfully located near public transit along Burnside and Stark giving you easy access to any part of the city. It is only three blocks from the popular and lively 28th Ave that is filled with bars, restaurants and shops that radiate that Portland charm and energy. Laurelhaurst park is also three blocks away with some of the oldest tree lined paths, playground, pump track and pickleball courts allowing an escape from the city. The house itself has a large backyard with a chicken coop, garden beds and a shed that can be used for bike storage etc. We would love to get someone into the home that will love and enjoy the backyard as much as we did. The house is zoned for Sunnyside Environmental School if you have a child in PPS k-8 which is known for their excellence and project based learning. The home has a redone kitchen with state of the art touches, a newly finished basement containing a full bath, large bonus room and flex space. The rest of the house contains the old time charm with new upgrades that allow ease such as a fireplace insert and radiator heat that heats the home during winter. We do not live on the property but right outside of the city and do our best to respond right away to any questions or concerns. We allow pets with approval but do not have a size or breed requirement.
