Please be aware that the building is older and a busy high-rise, so you may hear neighbor activity. The building is also currently under construction, which may cause noise from blowers in the lobby and hallways. Additionally, the parking lot is privately owned and may have some trash. AC and heating are available seasonally and are controlled by the HOA. Quiet hours are observed between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM. This is a residential-use space only, not for social gatherings or parties. No pets are allowed at any time, with a minimum fine of $500. Behavior resulting in a false fire alarm will incur a minimum fine of $150. No eating, beverages, or smoking are allowed in hallways or common areas, with a minimum fine of $50. Do not block elevator doors. Do not put pizza boxes or other large items into hallway trash chutes, with a minimum fine of $50. Do not let people follow you into the building or elevator. No noise should be heard coming from your unit at any time. Bicycles are not allowed inside the building. Please leave the condo tidy by emptying trash in the same-floor trash room, loading the dishwasher, and leaving dirty towels in the bathroom. No maid service is provided during your stay.
Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and there are often houseless individuals smoking and drinking around the area and outside of the building. This is out of our control. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, this may not be a good choice. Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. If you need a lot of assistance after hours and guaranteed immediate responses during the day, this may not be the condo for you.
