DIRECTIONS-PLEASE READ... (can be tricky to find the first time you visit). Please note the roads are mountain roads, although they are fully passable.
Take State Park Exit from Hwy 1. (from Santa Cruz)
Turn left onto State Park.
Turn right on Soquel.
Turn left on Trout Gulch Road. (approx .4 mile)
Turn left to stay on Trout Gulch Road. (approx 3.6 miles)
At the intersection of Fern Flat Rd you'll see a wood fence (#4600) with a sign saying Private Road Keep Out. IGNORE THIS and keep going straight. (approx .9 miles from here to the house) You'll see a couple of signs to turn right onto Sparrow Valley IGNORE THESE and keep going straight. There are a few 'private property' 'no trespassing signs' - does not apply to the road.
