This is a beautiful estate farm cottage. Located on over 20 acres of exotic fruit farm. This is actively farmed. Cottage is located in gated community. Entire cottage is private. Updated with new stove and hood last month; new washer and dryer all in one unit. Plenty of paved parking. Very close to Hilo- 4.5 miles to Hilo Medical Center, very private and open space. Cottage is fully furnished with queen bed and sofa bed. Owner lives in main house so it is a hosted rental. Rarely available- 3 year tenant just moved out to go to larger home. There is no heating or cooling but there are many french doors you can open. Beautiful new lanai on front of house. This is "off grid" in that we use water catchment tank with a pump that circulates water to the cottage house. HELCO for electric. Rent includes electricity and the cost for water fill up of the tank. You will be responsible for small propane tank- easy to change and maintain as needed. Please note that you may not add HVAC to the unit without first getting permission from owner and agreeing to pay the increased electric charge from adding unit. Thank you.
