Renter pays for all utilities. Parking in driveway and on street on the north side (in the backyard). Cats and dogs are allowed if owners pledge to take care of all animal-related problems. No smoking in the house. Inspections will be conducted on a regular basis. Rent must be deposited by the fifth of the month into account at Shelby County State Bank. SCSB has a branch office located four blocks south of Washington Street, just off of the north/south highway. Renters are required to carry their own rental insurance for all of their property in the house and car insurance on all their vehicles.

Original, detailed woodwork and high windows are all throughout the downstairs. New blackout curtains and curtain rods have been hung on all windows for your privacy. One bedroom/office is on the first floor. Dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room are on the main floor as well. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, freshly painted with new doors, new light fixtures, and new carpet. This house has skylights in three of the bedrooms upstairs which makes it possible to look at the stars at nighttime as you are lying in bed - a really cool feature. Updates include all fresh paint throughout, newly renovated bathroom with new fixtures and flooring, new carpet/LPV throughout, new light fixtures, and all new plumbing. Clean and ready to be called home! All appliances included. The backyard has room enough for playing catch or planting a garden. A large tree offers shade and character in the front yard, and some landscaping and beautiful perennials will pop up to make you smile every time you look out your window in the spring and summer. You have off-street parking in a driveway where two vehicles can easily fit, as well as parking in the back of the house, and on-street parking is available as well. A nice garden shed is clean and ready for your gardening tools and lawn mower (resident must mow the yard weekly in the spring/summer/fall and scoop the snow on the sidewalk in the winter or pay $100/month for lawn/snow services). The city park, mini golf, volleyball, basketball court, tennis court, and swimming pool are literally just across the street to the north! The library, city hall, convenience store/gas station, and main street restaurants, pubs, banks, medical center, barber/haircare shop, insurance and real estate offices, and several fun shops and museums are all just a couple blocks away and all within easy walking distance. The school is two blocks south of the house so children can easily walk to school. If you can work from home and have Walmart plus/Amazon prime, you probably wouldn't have to leave town much at all - and walk or bike almost everywhere most of the time (saving so much in gas money and wear/tear on your vehicles). Pets allowed for $25/month each, as long as the breed is accepted by the city. We show the house to people who have filled out a Zillow application.
