Hop across the bridge to visit Morehead City and Beaufort - two pretty inland towns that offer great shopping, dining, and historic and cultural attractions. From these two towns, visitors can also book a ferry or water taxi to the neighboring Shackleford Banks and the Cape Lookout National Seashore for more gorgeous beaches that are uncrowded and always scenic.
