A spacious, well lit (1 bed, 1 bath) mother-in-law (MIL) unit for rent on the first floor of a 3-story house in Shoreline. The unit has granite countertops in the bathroom and kitchenette area -- which includes a refrigerator, countertop double burner, microwave, and countertop convection oven -- and the apartment also has an in-unit laundry room with washer and a brand-new dryer. We also recently upgraded all the doors in the unit to be solid core. The house is quite peaceful as it is located at the end of a dead-end road, and the fenced-in unit features a front lawn and a porch overlooking a protected nature reserve (with a small stream providing a relaxing ambiance). This porch will also act as the private and separate entrance to the unit. The bedroom has two large windows - one facing the nature reserve and the other looking out to the side yard. We (James & Shilpa) are in our late 30s and live on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the house with our 11-month-old baby girl Mira, who is a joyous baby. We are easy going and quiet. We also acknowledge that people like their space so we will give you total privacy, while being accessible whenever you need us. Shoreline is a residential neighborhood 20 mins from the heart of Seattle. It is a very safe and walkable area. Major freeways (I-5 and 99) are within 5 min drive for quick accessibility to surrounding areas. The closest grocery store is a 2 min drive, and you can reach Costco and Home Depot within 5-7 mins. The house is also a 5-7 min drive from Nile Shrine Golf course and several parks such as Lake Ballinger and Lake Forest Park. Richmond Beach Park is a 15 min drive and a neighborhood attraction to view sunset.
