Lease Terms, Utilities & Shared Home Expectations This room rental will be offered on a 1-year lease, providing a stable and comfortable living arrangement in a shared home. Monthly rent includes essential utilities, making budgeting simple and convenient. Included utilities are electric, water, trash service, and internet. The home will be shared with a family member of the landlord, so clear household expectations and rules will be discussed and agreed upon to help create a respectful, comfortable, and peaceful living environment for everyone. This may include shared-space cleanliness, guest expectations, noise levels, parking, laundry use, and general courtesy within the home. There is no smoking inside the house, helping maintain a clean and comfortable indoor environment. Animals may be considered only if included in the rental agreement. Any approved animal will be the tenant's full responsibility, including care, cleanliness, noise control, and any damages caused by the animal. The tenant will also be responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their guests, or approved animals. Any maintenance concerns or damages should be reported as soon as they are noticed. Existing damage should be documented before move-in to protect both the tenant and landlord. Repairs needed due to tenant, guest, or pet damage will be the tenant's responsibility, while pre-existing documented issues will not be charged to the tenant.
