Nice, secluded, and private apartment for rent. One-bedroom, one-bath, 1st story in a two family house. I live upstairs. Rent inclusive of wi-fi, water, sewer, parking. Not inclusive of trash removal. Pets are $50/mo extra. The apartment has been freshly painted throughout and has new flooring, stove, fridge, and shower. I prefer a tenant with a dog but cats, gerbils, guinea pigs, spiders and snakes are welcome. The house is very quiet and peaceful with a large fenced in back yard and garden. I have cats and free-ranging chickens and turkeys. The apartment is heated with a pellet stove (very easy and inexpensive to operate), backup heat is provided by electric baseboards. The house is about 4 miles from the Cornell campus, and a 5 minute walk to the Ellis Hollow Preserve. It's an easy trip (car or bike) to the vet school at Cornell (about 4 miles to "b-lot"). A bus stop with several stops a day is about a 10 minute walk away. The dead end road is in a quiet area and neighboring houses are barely visible through the trees. When making inquiries please confirm this is for just one person and the number and type of animals you have.
