Rosamond is a growing city with 2 grocery stores, Starbucks, lots of eateries (McDonald's, Taco Bell, Domino's/Pizza Hut, Jack in the Box, etc). From the 14 fwy you can get to beaches, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, LA Zoo, and of course shopping malls galore, and that's just heading down south! Snow skiing is about an hour away. To the North is Mojave, Tehachapi (a sweet mountain community), Bishop, the Sierra Nevada Mtn range. There are many hiking trails and off road access in the Southern California area.
