About the building

This truly beautiful flat is in the second level of our classic 1900's triplex home in the heart of Uptown. It is approximately 1,250 sq ft. and includes a living room; full kitchen with range/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher; pantry room; full bathroom; two independent bedrooms; a great and very practical mudroom; a truly beautiful sunroom; a basement; and, off street parking for up to two cars (plus you'll always find a space or two on the street if you want to park around the premises). The flat has TONS of natural light and, yes, you'll be in for a treat. You'll LOVE this place and its neighbors (by and large all Tulane/Loyola professionals; we'll be happy to introduce you to all of them!). The apartment is very quiet. (Our family with two little ones --a two and a six year old-- have lived in it for a year and a half and never had a problem with noise from above or below.) Furnished $1950/month (gardening included but utilities are not). We would also be happy to consider accommodating a (small) dog and/or a cat for an extra fee. Available December 15. If you need to move in on a different day just let me know we would be happy to work with you on that. One year or six months lease available. The apartment is five blocks to St. Charles Ave. and three to the bustling and renewed Freret Street (tons of fun and good places to eat, hang out and listen to some of the best live music New Orleans has to offer). You'll be five minutes walking to the streetcar that will easily take you to the French Quarter, and a ten minutes walk to Audubon park, Loyola and Tulane universities. Call or text to talk about it and set up a showing.
