-This is a very walkable neighborhood, but should you wish a bike, storage space is provided. I've found it to be very safe and quiet.
-The immediate neighborhood has vibrant businesses throughout. The Mercerwood building contains Tirto Furniture, Jason Dallas Design, and Studio C architectural finishes. Neighborhood restaurants include a new sports bar, Monsoon, Rocket Taco, Zeek's Pizza, Macrina and others. Cone and Steiner is a boutique marketplace with groceries to sandwiches. Fuel coffee is around the corner.
-The 12 bus is 30 feet from your front door and the 8 & 11 are just a quick 4 minute walk downt he street. Easy transport to downtown, U of W, arboretum, Lake Washington, and all city neighborhoods.
-Neighbors are friendly, quiet, and respectful.
