Lease terms

Minimum of 1 month (31 nights) lease; 3-6 months is preferred. Lease includes internet, water, gas & electric. Monthly house cleaning is included (and required). We will coordinate a good time for the cleaners to visit once per month. The home comes fully furnished including bathroom towels, all kitchen and bedding essentials, one television for entertainment, and a variety of beach and snow equipment. The lease does not include snow clearing service. Please help us preserve the flooring of the home by removing wet or snowy shoes in the laundry room. Washer and dryer available for use on the first floor. Up to two dogs (of any size) are welcome for your stay, but we need to know ahead of time and there will be a pet fee. No other pets allowed. No smoking or vaping is permitted on the property. Free parking is included; up to 2 cars can be parked on the property (one in the car port and one in the driveway). You may need to move cars parked on the driveway up further for snow clearing. There are strict rules regarding street parking in South Lake Tahoe during snow season. Typically, street parking is prohibited during winter season (November 1- May 1). If your vehicle is parked on the street during snow plowing, it is subject to a fine and may be towed. The vehicle owner is solely responsible for any related fees or tickets issued for violations. Please be Bear Aware during your stay. Bear containers are located on the edge of the driveway and must be used to contain all trash. Recycling is located in the car port (do not put soiled food containers in recycling). Do not leave trash or food unattended outside or in cars. It is the tenants responsibility to bring the recycling to the curb for collection and to maintain general cleanliness on the property. Renters insurance is required for leases longer than 3 months. Background check is required for all tenants.
