The apartment is light filled with oversized windows and a skylight above the entry stairs. Hardwood floors throughout the apartment with the half bath and full bath with bathtub having tile floors. Original exposed wood beams run east to west throughout loft and are wrapped in atmospheric twinkle lights. The full kitchen has a five burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, and dark marble counters with plenty of cabinet space. The unit has its own stacked washer/dryer that are full-sized for large loads. HV/AC ducts runs along ceiling; two wood ceiling fans spanning the layout keep the space temperate with windows open for cross-breeze. There is a single walk-in closet with an antique wood door and two large pantry closets, one with antique wood doors. Storage space above the kitchen and above the east-end of the space but there is no additional other storage in the building. This space can easily accommodate two beds/bedroom areas and as an open-concept, the space can be arranged in a variety of designs, dream big! Pets are welcome, being on the top floor, having pets and tenants that aren't loud against the floors is a help to the building community space. Trash, Recycling and Compost costs are included in rent; tenant brings waste down to the base of the fire escape at the back of the building. The utilities of electric, gas, wifi, and water/sewer are not included and paid for by tenant. There is no dedicated parking: we suggest a city monthly pass as the building is a few minutes walk from long term lots or a monthly pass with E. John Gare Garage attached to Thornes. Being in the heart of downtown, we have had tenants who do not use cars or use their car much more infrequently.
