Carmel Valley Remodeled Home short term rental (1-3 months) in beautiful and peaceful setting close to Naval Post Graduate School, Defense Language Institute, and Fort Ord. Located in one of the best school districts in California (Carmel Unified) and the United States. Close to beautiful beaches and parks on a quiet road. Large storage shed and a new yurt for additional storage or as a detached 3rd bedroom or workplace. New wood floors, new interior paint, new fridge, new water filter, etc. Fireplace currently available for tenant use. Large master bedroom with large bathroom and closet. Second bedroom or office has a newly tiled shower and bathroom. Greatroom can be turned into a third bedroom/family room/dining room. Large wooded open space in front yard with bubbling brook (seasonal) and footbridge between home and yard. Pets allowed upon owner approval. Non-smoking house. Additional Information: Landlord will not be showing the house until after 8 November. Potential tenant required to fill out application from landlord and request credit check from the company landlord has chosen to do credit checks ( $60 cost to applicants) before house will be shown in order to focus on serious applicants. Basically, when you are coming to the Monterey/Pebble Beach, Carmel area you are coming to a resort area in one of the most desirable parts of the country and California. Welcome! WOW A NICE, MODERN, COMFORTABLE HOUSE IN THE CARMEL SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR $2900 ($3300 including utilities as described) which is well under the current rental rate in the area (because it is short term). Carmel Unified School District class sizes have averaged well under 25 students per class when our children went to school there, the carefully selected teachers are top notch, and the average per student expenditure is over $20,000 a year (which is similar to the cost of a good private school). Please take the time to google the Carmel Unified School District to before deciding where to live if you have school age children. House will be available to move in as early as 10 Nov 2024. A lot of people interested in the property have asked me where we buy food so here is that information. There is a general store in the village about a mile away that has all you need. However, we buy most of our food from the commissary on Fort Ord (about 15 miles away) or at one of the two Trader Joe's in Monterey or Pacific Grove. We get most of our fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farmers markets that run everyday in one local town or another (fresh, delicious, and mostly organic!) There are also plenty of Safeway's and other supermarkets scattered about the area. You will need to fill out a standard Californian rental agreement (which I will provide to you) and return it to me along with copies of your last three leave and earning statements, RAS, or paystubs (whichever apply) , your SSN, and the contact information of your last landlord so I can do a credit check. I'm also requesting you provide me with a copy of your orders, contract, or offer letter assigning you to NPS, DLI, or the Monterey area and a copy of your renter's insurance before the lease is activated.
