This stylish vintage "fisherman's" cottage perched atop 100' of whaleback granite ledge overlooking Candlewood Lake has a feeling all its own. Cozy and unique, reminiscent of a bygone era of escape-from-the-city summer rustication, this is a perfect snug (just 625sf). The main gallery features a large table for dining/workspace; a living area with sectional, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, and reading nook fill out the other end of the space. The galley kitchen features a 3-season Aga cooker (use the Weber grill for summer cooking!) and picture window overlooking the ledge. The bedroom features a kingsized bed that mostly fills the room, so you need to be comfortable alighting from the foot of the bed.
