The area really is great; plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Rock Creek Park, the Smithsonian Zoo and Meridian Hill Park are all within several blocks. If you like running, you can run down to the White House and National Mall area in about 10-20 minutes, which is amazing! The apartment itself is located within a small independent well-managed apartment block, with a secured entry point into the lobby. Management is exceptionally quick to respond to any maintenance issues, which is always important.
