It's a corner lot with lots of parking, a huge garage (800 sqft) and a giant dog-friendly backyard. While the house is small, she packs a punch! Recently updated interior, she has a three-year-old kitchen, refreshed flooring, paint, and all the amenities. The kitchen was updated with a convection stove, new cabinets, and new countertops. There is a dining table nook and a small office area. In-home washer/dryer, and a decent-sized (for 2 folks) bathroom with a full-sized tub. Single bed and single bath, and ideal for a couple with their pet(s). The front parking area has space for two vehicles, and the many entrances to the garden space make it easy to get in and out of the property. The side yard has a large patio with a fire pit, raised beds galore, a large rhododendron, and grapes growing along a large open trellis. The backyard space is all grass, has an extra storage shed (I use it for yard maintenance tools - but could be used for bikes or other toys), composting, and a few more raised beds. There is a large covered outdoor area where we set up hammocks and work in the summertime. It's a great hang-out area. The garage is giant! It is technically a two-car garage, but we use it mostly for toy storage. There is plenty of storage for all your bikes, skis, boats, and other things that make living in Whatcom County so amazing. Easy parking in front of the garage or in front of the side yard makes this house a great hang-out spot, and we often use this locale as a meet-up location for friends when we head to the mountains because of its ease of access.
