About the building

This 4 bedroom single family house (fully deleaded in 2020) sits right outside of Harvard square, on the doorstep of the main library of Cambridge… with its expansive grass field as well as the War Memorial pool. The main living space is on the second floor with a large open space containing the living room, dining room, kitchen plus direct access to a balcony (an extra room in all the warm weather months!). Off this space there is a bedroom and access to a small room that can be used as an office or a young child's bedroom (which is *not* counted as 1 of the 4 listed bedrooms). Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. On the first floor is the 4th bedroom, another large room (which could also be used as a bedroom though it has no closet), and the second bathroom. There is actually a 2nd kitchen on the first floor as well (as this is a multi-family house which we are renting as a single family) with a sink, stove, and refrigerator. The outdoor spaces of the house are: 1) The balcony off the 2nd floor which gets wonderful sun and has an extendable awning when that sun is too much. 2) The covered porch off the 1st floor. 3) A brick walkway along the side of the building leading to a brick patio behind the building with a table and chairs. The house is fully furnished, but the furniture in the photos is not the same as what is currently in the house. Piano and built in wooden island will be the same. Many other furniture is quite similar. Photos may be available on request. There is ample storage space in the (unfinished) basement
