The room itself is unfurnished, so you can set it up however you like.
Shared Spaces
The home opens onto a light-filled living area and a fully equipped kitchen, easy to cook in and comfortable to unwind in. The rest of the house is largely furnished including washer and dryer and kitchen essentials so you're welcome to bring your own or just use what's already here. The standout is the expansive front porch, looking out over the winery with a different sunset every evening. As an A-frame, the home has an open upstairs loft where I sleep the depth of the space keeps both areas private in practice, but it's an open layout rather than a fully separated second floor, worth knowing if you're picturing the flow of the home.
Set on a winery atop a mountain overlooking the valley, the property is about as peaceful as it gets. You're also just a 10-15 minute drive from Oregon Creek, the Yuba River, and Bullards Bar an abundance of incredible swimming spots right on your doorstep. Nevada City is about 30 mins on the 49.

You'll share with me and my two cats. I'm an Aussie, away around half the year in different stretches, so you'll often have the house to yourself. George, a winemaker, lives in a separate house on the property and brings a friendly community vibe.
