Beautiful lakeside studio apartment with great light, water views and maximum walkability!…
The unit:
This unit boasts extremely high ceilings (9+ feet!) and a giant glass sliding door that serves as the main window to let in a lot of natural light. The balcony is a great perch from which to enjoy the natural greenery of Lake Merritt, or sneak a peek at the occasional wedding reception at The Terrace Room across the street. The kitchen has been recently updated with modern appliances (refrigerator, stovetop, built in microwave), soft-close cabinets, and a bar to dine at. The bathroom has also been recently updated (fantastic water pressure from the shower head!) Although this is a studio, there is a small nook that serves as a logical bedroom space separate from the larger living space.
The location:
I have loved living in this cozy corner of downtown Oakland and will definitely miss how centrally located this unit is - you will enjoy being in proximity to so many things happening in downtown Oakland and around Lake Merritt, while still living on a beautiful residential street.
- Lake Merritt is just across the street, or you can enjoy the lakeside view from the balcony
- BART commuters! This is just a 10 min walk from the 19th ST BART station or a 12 min walk from the Lake Merritt BART station
- Both the Fox Theatre and the Paramount Theatre are a 12 min walk awy
- Chinatown is a 10 min walk away
- Great nearby coffee shops: Timeless Coffee, Motivat, Tierra Mia
- Great nearby restaurants: Bocanova, Aburaya, and more
- Less than 10 minute drive from Grand Lake neighborhood and Jack London Square
