About the building
Woodstock area, rustic, hunter's cabin on 10 acres for rent August 1 to late November.… This cabin is not insulated, so usually up to around Thanksgiving, it's very comfortable with a wood stove. The property backs up to 50 acres of state-protected wilderness. We are in Hurley, just 10 minutes to either Kingston or Woodstock. Easy biking distance to the Ashokan Rail Trail and the lovely Lake Onteora.
Our property is 10 minutes from the Kingston Trailways bus station and 20 minutes to the Rhinecliff Amtrak train station. Both connect to NYC very easily and beyond. Taxis and Ubers can get you to the house if you don't have a car. There are also shops and restaurants an easy biking distance from the property for your needs.
This 1920s rustic naturalist's cabin has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps four. The cabin is next door to the main house and shares a yard and driveway. There is a tenant in the main house. In the forest on the property, there is shared access to a geodesic dome for yoga and exercise. Move-in/out date can be flexible, ideally sometime at the start of August and out by the end of November.
