WICKER PARK APARTMENT FOR RENT My fantastic, Wicker Park 1 Bedroom on Thomas between Ashland and Milwaukee will become available on July 1. I've lived here for 5 years and am moving to the west coast and need someone to take over my lease from 7/1/26-6/30/27. Current rent is $1685 through 8/31. On 9/1, rent will increase to $1940. Tenant must have good credit. There is a non-refundable $50 application fee per tenant covers our standard tenant screening. Last month rent and non-refundable $400 admin fee per tenant due at lease signing. First month rent due 10 days before start of lease. No pets, unfortunately. The unit is in a classic, 19th century Chicago three flat, about 750 square feet with large windows, great natural light, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and original architectural details like crown molding. It's on a quiet, tree lined street, and is one of six units in the building. It includes new, stainless steel appliances, ample cabinet and counter space, two large closets, a large bedroom, bathroom, living area, dining corridor, patio/balcony and shared backyard. Shared washer/dryer on the first floor. Central heat and window AC. Shared backyard. It's two blocks from the "L" on Division and Milwaukee, Ashland and Milwaukee buses are on the corner, two blocks in either direction and you can have your pick of shopping, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores on Division, Chicago or Milwaukee. The apartment is also two blocks from Eckhart Park and Pulaski Park where you can go for a run, enjoy a stroll among the trees or swim year round in both the indoor and outdoor pools. The landlord is a private owner who cares about the building, tenants and community.
