Household Guidelines To help maintain a comfortable, respectful, and welcoming home for everyone, all residents are asked to follow these basic household guidelines: Cleanliness Please clean up after yourself, especially in shared areas such as the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and outdoor spaces. Dishes, food, personal belongings, and other items should not be left in common areas for extended periods. Energy and Water Conservation Please be mindful of electricity, heating, air-conditioning, and water usage. Residents should make an extra effort to conserve energy between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. by turning off unnecessary lights and appliances and limiting excessive heating or air-conditioning use. Guests and Gatherings Occasional guests are welcome. However, if you plan to have several guests over or host a small gathering, please give the other household members advance notice and be considerate of their schedules, privacy, and comfort. Overnight guests or frequent visitors should also be discussed beforehand. Noise and Quiet Hours The home is located in an established residential neighborhood, so please be respectful of both housemates and neighbors. Noise should be kept to a reasonable level after 11:30 p.m. Weekend evenings may occasionally go later, provided everyone in the household is informed and the noise does not disturb the neighborhood. Smoking Smoking is permitted in the backyard only. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts and clean up any ash, packaging, or other debris. Smoking is not permitted inside the home, near open doors or windows, or in shared indoor areas. Respect and Communication Please respect everyone's personal space, belongings, schedules, and boundaries. Open and respectful communication is encouraged. If you have a concern, request, maintenance issue, or household-related problem, please communicate it promptly so it can be addressed before it becomes a larger issue. The overall goal is to maintain a clean, peaceful, and respectful home where everyone feels comfortable.
