The neighborhood
About the building
This is a great spot if you like quiet and nature, there is a view of an aspen grove from the outdoor sitting area.… Great fall colors and spring flowers. A picnic table and a fire pit as well as a BBQ are included. The sofa is also a fold out double bed in addition to the full size loft bed.
Lake Davis is a five minute drive and the town of Portola is ten minutes away. Mountain biking, dirt biking, hiking, golf, fishing and lake sports are all around the area. The Lakes Basin, with a hundred lakes, tons of hiking trails are a half hour away. The middle fork of the Feather River is just down the hill on the way to town. Winter sports include snow shoeing, cross country sking, ice fishing and snowmobiling. Forest service roads start a quarter mile away.
My husband and I live on the same property as this studio with our two very friendly dogs. You are welcome to have fires in the outdoor fire ring while permitted by the state rules. There is plenty of parking and we will take care of the snow removal in the winter.
