Lease terms

Month to month rental to one (1) person only (no exceptions). First month's rent due upon signing, $1500 to hold cottage (deposit). The fully furnished cottage is located in back of main house. House is landlord occupied. This is not a place for gatherings or parties. No pets of any kind and no motorcycles. Parking for one vehicle on left side of driveway. Your vehicle must be well maintained, not leaking oil or be an eyesore. This neighborhood is quiet, friendly and well maintained. Suitable for someone who commutes or who works nearby and wants to come home to a private, quiet and beautiful living space. Not suitable for a permanent work at home situation. Landlord must be notified regarding any visitors and guests may occupy the cottage for no more than 1 night after landlord is notified. Absolutely no smoking or drugs on property (grounds or cottage). Will only rent to someone who is clean and respectful of the property. All problems (i.e. maintenance or otherwise) should be reported to landlord immediately. This is a month-to-month rental and can be terminated by either party with a 30 day notice. It would be best to have a phone conversation before viewing to get any preliminary questions answered. Must have references from last two landlords and proof of employment. Rent is due on the first day of the month no exceptions with automatic deposit as the vehicle for payment. Wifi and all utilities are included in rent. Streaming stations or advanced Wifi is the responsibility of the tenant. Property available to move on August 1, 2026
