Lease terms
Rent is $1800 a month, with trash service included. Utilities and other services will be tenant's responsibility. There is a fiber optic hookup in the front living space. Refundable deposit will be equal to a full month's rent ($1800) Pets considered on a case by case basis, although we would prefer a renter that has either a cat or no pets. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $300 for leases that are less than a year, or a $30 a month pet rent for leases 1 year and longer. Applicants must fill out the Zillow application, credit check, and background check before touring the home. We are willing to negotiate the lease duration.

This duplex home has 2 beds and 1 bath and street parking.… It's been renovated with new flooring, fresh paint in every room, carpet in the bedrooms, and updated tiling in the kitchen. Each room has a large window that lets in a beautiful amount of light, especially in the mornings. The two bedrooms both have large closets, and one of the bedroom has built in shelves for storing books, clothing, trinkets, or whatever you'd need it for. There is one bathroom with a tub. The kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, and space to set up a work station. The front living room is large and has lovely views of the mountains out the front window. The large front porch and front green space will serve as your outdoor living space, as there isn't a backyard available to this unit of the house. There is plentiful street parking out front. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we're about 5 minutes from Downtown Colorado Springs and even less from Old Colorado City.
What we love about this home: Built in 1895, it has historical charm and a beautiful view of the mountains. The front porch is lovely in the summertime. There are many deer and wildlife in the neighborhood, and they often pass by the windows while grazing. The morning sunlight in the 1322 unit is divine, it would be wonderful for someone who enjoyed having houseplants. There is a brick wall down the interior middle of the home, so while it is a duplex, it remains very quiet and completely private. This home is peaceful and serene, a perfect place to enjoy life on the westside of Colorado Springs!
