LOCATION: The house is on a really great tree-lined block, located on the border between Columbia Heights and Petworth / 14th St. Heights. Walk just one block to reach the biking and running trails of Rock Creek Park, or the shops and restaurants on 14th street (e.g., Red Derby, Taqueria Habanero). It's only a short stroll to the many bars and restaurants on Georgia Avenue (e.g., Qualia Coffee, Looking Glass Lounge) or the commercial district in central Columbia Heights (Target, Best Buy, etc.). The neighborhood is full of great grocery stores, including the newly renovated Safeway (just 3 blocks away), Super Giant, and Yes! Natural Foods. It's about a five minute walk to the Petworth metro station and a fifteen minute walk to Columbia Heights metro (both on the Green line).
