Classy, peaceful, one-bedroom unfurnished apartment in Columbia Heights at 1321 Fairmont St NW Apt 404 available Aug 1.… On top floor, quiet alley side, of a 31-unit four-floor condo building - no one above you and minimal street noise, with quiet neighbors! City skyline views to north and east, with nice morning light and sunrise views, with distant views of the Basilica from the kitchen window and a radio tower from the bedroom window that looks like the Eiffel Tower (you can pretend you're in Paris!) - both landmarks lighted at night. 5-min walk to the edge of the Columbia Heights hill, where you can gaze south at the Washington DC downtown skyline, including the Capitol and Washington Monument.
Living room and kitchen windows face east and bedroom window faces north. Honey-toned hardwood floors in living room and kitchen, new carpet (2023) in bedroom. Recently renovated (2021) luxury shower with sliding curved doors, large rain showerhead plus handheld on hose with massage settings, filtered water to limit calcification, tiles treated to inhibit mold, and corner shelf. Glass shelves next to bathroom sink and above toilet. Pull-out lighted close-up mirror that flips between magnified and regular views. Rock Creek Park (the zoo area) is only a 20 min walk, and the widest and best portion of Rock Creek Park north of Broad Branch Rd - where car traffic is prohibited on Beach Dr, and you can feel like you are on a real hike on a wonderful network of beautiful trails along the river and in the hills, bike or skate along the river, or enjoy a picnic at many spots with tables, some with stone fireplaces or grills - is only a 45 min walk or a 12 min bike ride or drive!
