This unit is a side unit with 7 windows across the entire west side, there is an abundance of light and room. It has a great porch which overlooks a charming courtyard and something that is very rare in DC...tons of storage from 5 huge closets and a dedicated storage unit in the basement. It also includes a private parking spot within the onsite gated parking lot as well as free access to a very nice gym/workout area (squat rack, benchpress, dumbbells from 5-75lbs, treadmill, row machine, bikes, and lots more).
We completely renovated this place so that we could enjoy living here. This is not a flip or a hastily built apartment building. This was our home for 2 years.
The all electric unit has excellent natural temperature control and when the central A/C or heat is required the double pane windows keep the bill down. Typical electric bill of ~$80 (there is no gas or water bill)
The unit also has a jumbo washer and dryer (not stacked), full size dishwasher, large refrigerator, full size electric stove, large microwave, 50 gallon water heater.
The unit is uniquely positioned an 8 minute walk to the U st metro and a 12 minute walk to the Columbia heights metro and all the various shops, restaurants, and entertainment those areas have to offer (Trader Joe's is 4 blocks away).
Available starting June 1st. First month's rent and a security deposit are required at the signing of a one year lease.
