This apartment is on the third floor of a three-family home. The first thing you will notice walking in is the original fur hardwood floors that go back 100 years and are in perfect condition. These gleaming hardwood floors go through the entire apartment and are impressive to see.
There is a bright front room once you walk through the front door which is the living room. There is definitely enough space for a couch, chair, TV and makes a comfortable space to relax. There are two bedrooms off the hallway as you move from the front of the apartment to the back. Off of this hallway is also the full bath. The full bath has recently been updated with ceramic tile floor and new vanity, mirror, toilet.
The kitchen is a nice surprise. It has built in shelves that match the fur floors that give bonus storage and a lot of character and warmth. This entire kitchen has been redone professionally. There are granite counters! New stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. A glass mosaic tile backsplash. This is the nicest third floor kitchen that you will find. The biggest surprise of this apartment is that you have a washer and dryer inside the apartment. There is no walking down to the basement or to the laundry mat here. The kitchen is large enough for a table and to be an eat-in space. The kitchen is in the back of the apartment where the second egress is. There is a nice covered stairwell that goes down to the parking area.
The apartment is clean and shows well. It's bright and has some fresh paint. It makes a very cozy space for sure. It is also professionally managed.
This apartment is located 5 minutes to the Farmington town line. Close to Farmington ave. 5 minutes to CCSU and Stanley park. The Frosty Mug is walking distance away. Other great restaurants like Great Taste and Staropolska are a couple min drive. Rt. 9 access is 3 minutes. West Hartford/Hartford is 15-20 mins. The famous Polish deli and market, Roly Poly is around the corner.
Please keep in mind we have a strict application process that focuses on good credit. There is also a background check, employment and income verification. Pets considered on a case by case basis with a strong application. There are 1/2 off street parking spots. Tenant is responsible for electricity. The apartment has electric heat, however, each room has its own thermostat and can be regulated easily. This also makes it affordable. Owner pays for cold water and all snow removal and lawn care. Your only bill is an electric bill.
