Two bedroom, energy efficient furnished home for rent at Story Ranch, a farm wilderness center, along the Tecolote River in Mineral Hill,13 miles from… Las Vegas,NM. We are looking for individuals or a family interested in collaborating in farming which includes chickens, geese, goats, bees as well as organic gardens and fruit trees.
Story Ranch is on 45 acres, has a thirty- foot yurt, fully functioning kitchen and dining space, main house, small studio, round barn art studio, 30-foot grow dome, spring-fed swimming pool, vintage trailers,1948 truck-house, two renovated 80-year old cabins, small casita, writers' retreat space, barns, and three 250 sq ft. hoop houses.
The house for rent is on 1 acres, has two bedrooms, an office/small child room, one bath, adobe interior walls, its own well, mini-split and wood stove. It is super efficient with a passive solar design. Because there are three dogs and many other pets on the property, we are hesitant to add more pets. Our dogs do not like cats.
