Extremely private, facing open space, surrounded by a creek and wooded area, next to bike path that goes directly down to Arroyo Burro Beach (1.3 miles) and to UCSB (25-40 minutes by bike) in the other direction. Enjoy birds at the bird feeder and an occasional visit by our local bobcat. Gorgeous, quiet, natural setting. Fresh ocean air, tangerine tree, gardens, outdoor shower, beach toys. A very welcoming high end family home.

Terms at 1273 Veronica Springs Rd

Owner pays water, trash, internet, electricity within reason. For environmental reasons, if utility bills rise significantly above monthly average rates, renters may be charged excess (taken out of deposit). Renters pay for any damages incurred by renter, within reason. Owners will take responsibility for damages that are bound to happen and not fault of renter. For stays of only one month, at the discretion of the owners, the damage deposit can be reduced to $3000. Absolutely, no matter what, no smoking. There is an additional one-time cleaning & management fee of $500. Because of potential damage to floors, furniture, and grounds, we have a no-pet policy (excluding service animals); however, exceptions will sometimes be made at the discretion of the owners. We are renting for 30 days or more and welcome multiple month stays through May 19, 2025. For several month rentals we would be happy to offer a reduced rate. Availability begins Aug 14, 2014. This is a home we live in most of the time, but we will be going on sabbatical for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Zillow rental estimate for the property is over $10,400, but we don't need to rent it for that much to cover expenses. We would rather find a couple or family who would really enjoy the property and take good care of it while they are here.
